Filter news and YouTube feeds by interest

A single-file Python portal that filters news and YouTube feeds by interests you describe in plain English: the official typesafe-sdk scores every item, routine business hides separately, and the result is one static page with News and YouTube tabs.

01 · Role in the system

What Jev does here

Every item gets judged against your written interests with typed answers - a Noul for whether it matches, plus Score questions for special rules like hiding routine business news below your own threshold. The judge is the official AsyncTypeSafeClient, so scores arrive calibrated, and the interest-match threshold plus per-rule cutoffs are your config, not the model's whim. Output is deliberately boring: one static out/index.html with two tabs, generated by a script whose entire dependency list fits in one line - feedparser, httpx, numpy and the SDK.

02 · Control boundary

Where Jev sits

Jev as the interest scorer of a feed portal: plain-English interests become typed Noul and Score questions per item, config-owned thresholds turn scores into keep or hide, and a static two-tab page is the whole interface.

Code owns the loop, permissions, thresholds, validation, and side effects. Jev owns only the bounded judgments described above.

03 · Known limits

What this evidence does not prove

  • News and YouTube only; other feed types need new parsers.
  • Static page is regenerated per run; no interactive history.
  • 0 stars; single-file scope.
