Privacy policy

What we collect

• Submissions. When you use the submit form we store the name, email address, source URL, and summary text you provide. Submission emails are private review data: they are never published in the directory, the Git content, or the JSON feed.
• Rate limiting. We store a salted SHA-256 hash of the submitter IP address with each submission. The hash cannot be reversed to identify a visitor and is used only to enforce submission limits and to review abuse.
• Server logs. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request data to deliver and secure the site.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not build individual cross-site profiles. Outbound link click counts are recorded through Cloudflare Zaraz as aggregate events (link target and page path). No analytics data is used for advertising.

Cookies and advertising

This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this and other sites.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. You can also read how Google uses data from these cookies in Google's advertising policies. Where a consent framework applies (for example in the EEA and UK), visitors may be served non-personalized advertising.

Bot prevention

The submission form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a brief verification challenge when a submission is sent. Turnstile is operated by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy.

Retention and your choices

Submission records are retained while the directory is operated and for a reasonable review period afterwards. You can ask us to correct or delete a submission, including its email address and IP hash, at any time by emailing corrections@typesafeai.app. You do not need an account to use this site.

Changes to this policy

If the site adds a new data practice, this page will be updated and the date above will change. Questions are welcome at corrections@typesafeai.app.
