Filter admin tables by vibe with typed decisions

A Filament plugin for Laravel admin panels that filters tables by natural language instead of SQL: type "the customer is angry" and Jev's typed decisions drive the where-clauses - shipped as a Packagist package with a driver system, tests and a live demo.

01 · Role in the system

What Jev does here

The admin types what they want in plain English and the plugin asks Jev typed questions instead of building a query builder expression. A TypeSafeDriver posts batches to api.typesafe.ai's systemone endpoint (an OpenRouter driver is the alternative), and the DecisionManager turns the calibrated answers into the table's filters - so "the customer is angry" filters rows no SQL column captures. Judgments stay inspectable and swappable: the driver interface means the decision backend changes with one config line, both drivers have their own test suites, and the package is distributed through Packagist with CI running the tests. Filter-by-vibe moves the filter box from exact values to meaning, at admin-panel latency.

02 · Control boundary

Where Jev sits

Jev as the semantic filter driver of an admin panel: natural-language input becomes typed decisions, a driver layer maps them onto table filters, and a swappable backend keeps the decision source a config choice.

Code owns the loop, permissions, thresholds, validation, and side effects. Jev owns only the bounded judgments described above.

03 · Known limits

What this evidence does not prove

  • Filter quality is bounded by the question set; exotic vibes need new criteria.
  • Driver default is the native TypeSafe endpoint; the OpenRouter alternative is config-swapped.
  • Demo URL redirected without completing a plain curl follow; verify in a browser.
